The Jetboil Flash canister stove cooking system utilizes innovative engineering to efficiently boil a half liter of water in just over a minute and a half! An external temperature gauge on the included cooking "cup" gives clear indication of when water has reached a boil.
Utilizing heat-capturing technology, a 1-liter hard-anodized aluminum FluxRing cooking cup connects directly to the high performance burner, ensuring that little heat is lost during the cooking process. A built-in windscreen allows the stove to function effectively even under less than optimal conditions. A simple-to-use electric igniter makes lighting the burner and operating the system quick and easy. The system does require the use of a Jetpower Fuel canister (sold separately and not available for purchase online). Each canister provides ample energy to boil 12 liters of water and can be stowed conveniently inside the FluxRing cooking cup along with the rest of the system.
A neoprene lining encases the cooking cup, keeping food and beverages warm long after heating and safely allowing you to handle the cup even immediately after its contents have been brought to a boil. The lining also houses a color change window that alerts you when contents are hot. A sip-through lid further helps insulate the contents of the cooking cup and prohibits spills. A protective plastic bottom of the cup can be removed for use as a small bowl or measuring device.
Compact and lightweight, the entire system can be stowed inside the FluxRing cooking cup, reducing the packed dimensions to 4.1 " x 7.1". You can customize and expand the use and functionality of the system by adding additional FluxRing accessories (all sold separately).
