What does Terrain mean? The type of terrain the shoe performs best on. Our trail running and hiking shoes fall into one of three categories: moderate terrain, all terrain or technical terrain.

What does Cushioning mean? The level of cushioning in a shoe will determine how it feels when your foot lands. More cushioning means less impact and extra comfort. Less cushioning means a faster and more responsive running experience.
Heel to toe drop
7mm
What does Heel to toe drop mean? Heel to toe drop is the difference in height between the heel and the forefoot. In a shoe with a drop of 7mm, your heel will sit 7mm higher than your forefoot. Shoes with a lower drop tend to place more load on the ankles and are generally better for midfoot and forefoot strikers. Shoes with a higher drop tend to place more load on the knees and hips and generally better for heel strikers.

When developing the Cloudsurfer Trail, we figured out a way to use less TPU plastic. Instead, we replaced it with functional embroidery applied on a base mesh of recycled polyester. It's the same On performance elements. Just made with less.
